Former director of the Russian space agency claims that man did not reach the moon, see

The former head of the Russian Space Agency does not believe that man ever reached the Moon. Dimitri questions NASA's 1969 feat because he found no evidence that American astronauts set foot on the lunar surface.

Dmitry Rogozin, former director of the Russian Space Agency, believes that man did not land on the Moon in 1969. The official stated on his official Telegram channel that before his arrival at Roscosmos, he requested evidence of the Apollo 11 mission.

It makes no sense to Rogozin that NASA could achieve such a feat, since it has not been able to repeat it for fifty years.

“About ten years ago, when I was working in the government, I sent an official request to Roscosmos to provide documentary evidence of the Americans’ stay on the moon,” he said.

“I was extremely embarrassed by the fact that Soviet cosmonauts returning from multi-day expeditions could barely stand up,” he said.

The former space agency chief couldn't believe Armstrong and Aldrin were moving around without a hitch after leaving the lunar module.

Despite his insistence, the results of the request were not as expected. Dimitri Rogozin mentioned that the agency sent him a book where cosmonaut Alexei Leonov confirmed the lunar landing.

Leonov, who could become the first Soviet to walk on the moon, said Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin accomplished the feat “because they told themselves so.”

Years later, Rogozin would take control of Roscosmos and transform it into a competitive space agency. During his tenure, the director continued to search for evidence of a trip to the Moon, but found nothing.

The official said the questions only earned him criticism from academics and colleagues for undermining “sacred cooperation with NASA,” as well as a call for action from a senior Russian manager.

Former head of Roscosmos does not believe in the official version of the moon landing

According to conspiracy theories, NASA faked the moon landing to win the space race against the Soviet Union. It is no surprise that Dimitri Rogozin, an old-school patriot seeking to restore the glory of the USSR, would make such a statement.

During his time at the helm of Roscosmos, the manager was involved in several controversies, from threatening to kill Elon Musk to trapping an astronaut on the International Space Station.

By virtue of my nature, I tried to get to the bottom of the details and establish, at least for myself, the true state of affairs on the subject of lunar exploration by our competitors. It was not clear to me how the United States, at that level of technological development in the 1960s, did what it still cannot do now. Dimitri Rogozin

It is important to mention that Rogozin does not doubt that Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins traveled to the Moon, but that they managed to land.

The former head of the Russian Space Agency accuses figures such as Eugene Alexandrov, a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, of having interests aligned with the United States.

Alexandrov, who promotes scientific knowledge through the Commission on Pseudoscience, sharply criticized Rogozin when he requested evidence of the 2018 moon landing.

He currently holds no office and has lost all the power he once held, although that doesn't stop him from sharing his memories and theories on his Telegram channel.
