Boy passes away, only to come back with a spine-tingling message from the afterlife. What he experienced on the other side will leave you in awe.
In 1997, the fate of 8-year-old Landon Whitley forever changed following a fatal car accident. As he drove back home from church, the car he was driving with his parents crashed into an ambulance. His dad, Andy, passed away instantly, and Landon was gravely injured.
Rushed to hospital, doctors provided little hope that he would live. If he survived, he would probably end up in a vegetative state. His mom, Julie, never lost faith and prayed without ceasing for a miracle.
A Miraculous Return
Two weeks after being in a coma, Landon's eyes opened. Miraculously, he had no brain damage, something that left doctors stunned. But the joy of his survival was dampened when his mother had to inform him of his father's death.
To Julie's surprise, Landon responded in a way she did not expect: he informed her that he already knew what had transpired, since he had met his father in heaven.
Experiences in the Afterlife
Landon painted a picture of heaven as a realm of beauty and peace. In it, he saw his father without pain and suffering. But that was not all that he experienced.
He said that he saw angels, creatures of light who
were filled with love and warmth.
She encountered two kids she never saw before but knew
instantly they were her siblings. Julie never shared with her the miscarriages
she experienced before, which made this discovery even more surprising.
His most unbelievable encounter was with Jesus.
The Message of Jesus
Jesus came to her in an unspeakable manner: full of love and radiant. He did not speak to her verbally, but left a message directly on her heart and mind.
Jesus' message was unequivocal:
Heaven exists.
God loves the world.
Mankind needs to go back to love and faith.
Jesus assigned him a special task: to go back to Earth and spread this message to the world. Although he was only a child, Landon knew how significant his mission was.
A New Mission on Earth
Landon likened his experience to seeing a film: though he didn't recall every nuance, he was aware of the nature of what he'd experienced. His knowledge of heaven wasn't based on learned information, but rather on something he knew.
As he matured, he started sharing his testimony with others, telling them that his resurrection from death wasn't an accident, but a second chance at completing Jesus' mission.
She also went through the Grief Share program with her mother, something that assists in comforting grieving individuals through faith. This helped Julie turn her sorrow into meaning.
The Impact of Your History
In spite of the physical consequences of the accident—such as metal plates in his head, a rebuilt nose, and vision loss in one eye—Landon lived a normal life. But his view of life changed drastically. He realized that his home was heaven and that he was only temporarily here on earth.
Inspired by what happened to her, Julie authored the book "Faith Has Its Reasons," where she shared how God used her pain to build up her faith and to assist others.
For Landon, his mission was obvious: he wanted the world to realize that Jesus and heaven exist, and that every life is meaningful. His testimony has reached thousands of individuals, bringing hope and renewing faith in the divine.
